Happy Birthday, knic26I started writing a ficlet for you, but a different plot bunny took over my brain. So the original fic sits half finished and I have this rather odd offering for you
( Read more... )
O_O Dragon blowjobs! Owwie!!!!! That hurts to think about and I don't even have a penis... I mean, I guess if it was a really baby dragon and it didn't have teeth or fire breathing capabilities yet, that would be sort of non lethal.
Anyway, ridiculous obsessing over minor details aside, this was a really interesting and unusual look into a character...I liked it! And I couldn't help feeling happy for him in the end, even though trying to be a replacement Fred is bound to open up a whole other can of psychological worms...
LOL. Since the dragons were still drinking from bottles, I'm going with very young dragons here. (Dragon!Chan)
Yep, this Charlie is just way too psychologically scarred to ever have a normal life, but we'll wish him well. *waves him off*
Why is it I love Charlie so much but never write him in a good role????
I'm also wondering if anyone is 'getting' the 'Jo' character (or am I the only one who despises JK for saying Charlie didn't marry because he cared more for dragons than people?).
Haha, I hadn't heard that quote, but the Jo character did give me pause - I was like, either Ann really has it out for JKR or that's a really improbably coincidental choice of name ;) But...I don't see what's wrong with caring more for dragons than for people? As long as he cares! (And did you really *want* her to make him marry? The fewer inconvenient epilog pairings, the better, I say...)
*snerk* Dragon!chan indeed - you just can't get away from that chan, can you?? LOL! :D
Okay, I'll admit my real problem with JK as to Charlie is the fact that he is conspiculously absent from almost all the books. He is the forgotten Weasley... dammit. And, come on, how could the dragon keeper be less cool than the curse-breaker?
Great point on epilog couples by the way *shudders*
I've been trying to stay away from Chan lately... really I have. *bats eyelashes innocently*
Yeah, I know what you mean. I didn't even really like Charlie as a character until I got into fandom and saw him fleshed out a bit. (Honestly, I don't even know if there is a line between fanon and canon in my head anymore.)
Stay away from chan? Why ever would you want to do that? *innocent eyes* And I'd miss it, too... *slightly less innocent eyes*
