As of recently I've been making things that, uncharacteristically, contain no nudity. To celebrate this fact, I am posting a few things here- friend-page stretching be damned!
First up is a CD cover I made for my friend Elyse who does some awesome musics. She didn't really ask me to... at all. Nor did she ask me to title her album, but we'd discussed this name. I don't think she'll keep it.
(Side note: Scott, you do great music too, but you also do art stuff so I would not presume to make you CD art since I figure you'd rather do it yourself.)
EDIT: Elyse's Myspace Music page is
here. She only has one song up thus far, but it's a good'un.
Next up is a design I just submitted to the website Threadless. Users submit shirt designs, then they're voted on, then the designs that get picked get turned into shirts and the designers win prizes. I don't really fit in over there, so I don't think this is gonna do so great.
Finally, a comic strip I drew. I have/had a lot of ideas for this strip, and the one I decided to draw is partway through a plot so people tend to not get it. The girl is a lawyer. One day she comes home to find a dragon who is now sworn to protect her as she is the last in an obscure magic bloodline. As a lawyer, she is not known for her tolerance of mystical beings. Typing it out makes it sound a lot more fantasy novel and a lot less funny magic/mundane hijinks. This strip is right after she calls animal control to take the dragon away, and he breathes fire on the truck when it shows up.
I've been trying to come up with a good, funny, catchy name for the strip. "Scales of Justice" is just.... ok. I'm leaning towards "Claw and Order."
