For those of you not familiar with Murphy's Law it says that anything that can go wrong, will. I have been having day after day of events that not even Murphy himself would see coming. It got to a point that I had to take a day off and just laze it up in my room to let myself decompress. The worst day of all was Thursday. Sure my scanner didn't work, but who would predict the complete computer aneurism tht my mom's CPU suffered, forcing me to run another repeat strip? I didn't write about all these terrible bad coincidences and bad luck because I'm not a huge fan of LJ-Brand angst, now with 33% more whining about everything.
Anyway, while Thursday was by far the worst day of the week, there was one minor consolation, I got an amazing parking space. Right behind my building! And I got on campus at 12:30! That sort of good fortune never happens. Did it make up for the rest of the bad stuff? No, but it was still nice...
Apparently sometime in the night, stormy weather brought a pretty big tree branch (Fig. "PWN3D") down right into my coveted parking space. So now I have to get my whole windshield replaced. Hopefully, while it's in the shop, they can fix the power window regulator in the driver's door, since that broke on Wednesday and my window is currently held shut by a screwdriver.
