"At least 22 people and as many as 32 were killed and more than two dozen wounded at Virginia Tech university on Monday in the deadliest campus shooting in U.S. history."
Damn it, you shouldn't have played Gears of War on insane so many times!
Apparently the shooter was a dual gun-weilding Asian male (damn you Starcraft!). Leading me to believe this was not an act of vengeance or peer pressure, but merely a reinactment of the shootout in John Woo's The Killer. 30+ dead and almost 30 injured in varying conditions. Most people can't do that much damage with a bomb. You'd think one of these lemmings would have heard of something like "self sacrifice" or "taking one for the team" instead of running to the nearest locked exit like a bunch of rodents in a club fire only to take pot shots to the back of the head. Much like 911 I place a majority of the blame on the victims not the attacker.
The philosopher Mode once stated "people are people", this sort of thing is always going to happen until we live in some bizarre dystopia where we all wear foil jumpsuits and violence has been abolished for over 100 years, the population regulated by fertility drugs in the drinking water. But until then we are going to kill ourselves and eachother en mass. If you don't like it, put a stop to it and don't join the mob getting turned into human swiss cheese. Honestly, how hard can it be to take down an Asian Virginia Tech student trying to fire two guns at the same time, or tackle some dustbeard armed with a Bic shaving kit.
"At this time we believe it's only one gunman," said Finchum.
Later we might add a few more, to make things interesting.
President George W. Bush was "horrified" by the shooting White House spokeswoman Dana Perino said.
"He was horrified and his immediate reaction was one of deep concern for the families of the victims, the victims themselves, the students, the professors and all of the people of Virginia who have dealt with this shocking incident," she said.
Bush tore himself from coloring and "corndog time" to spit out some old sound bites he remembered from when someone told him to react to the Columbine shooting in front of the camera. Apparently "that sucks" isn't good enough when you're in charge of the glorious nation US of A.
A student journalist's video of the chaos was replayed repeatedly on U.S. television networks, showing people scurrying around the campus and volleys of shots ringing out.
Can't wait for the gifs.
