Well, the gear head in me won out...
Thanks to ebay, I am now the oh so proud owner of a 1971 Super Beetle.
And what a fine hunk of junk it is, for the princely sum of $450.00.
Now, can I get it "ready" by the first snow fall of this upcoming winter???
Monthly budget allows for $600.00 in parts per month, minimum; it's all up to me.
My last two cars purchased for this have been failures... let's see if I can get one in the win column again.
