How about learning from IVRs and telling us that we're number 431165 in the queue and the approximate wait time is $n days. Cycling through useless messages is even worse than just sticking with "All agents are currently busy...."

Update, 8 times through the cycle
There ARE other messages! This came up:

Currently experiencing network delays, one moment please....
Network connection re-established.
An agent will be with you in a moment. Thank you for your patience.

Good thing I have a bunch of /. articles queued up...

Started at about 3:20pm, had an agent at 4:08pm, have the new firmware at 4:38pm. In total, 15 cycles through the queue messages. At least the agent seemed to know what he was talking about.
