So today I started down the leasing trail. Its time to (finally) retire teh Intrepid.
The real kicker was figuring out just how much it was costing in repairs. Leasing is just about the same amount, but at least I won't have to continue with the constant background thread of "if my car dies *now*, what do I do?" all the time that I'm in my car, every time I drive.
Although that recurring thought probably made me a safer driver, it isn't a good thing with the holidays coming up and all the driving I do during them.
Next important date: Monday. That's when I'll get an idea as to when my new car'll be ready to be picked up.
