[ Okay. OW. Polka's not paying mind to her legs right now though, because she's got a shadow hand to deal with. She stumbles, falling backwards onto the ground in the process between struggling and balance -her legs hurt damnit. So one hand is pulling at that shadow hand and the other props herself up. ]

Let me go! [ Aaa she dun wanna be eeaten!!! ... oh wait, why is she panicking like she can't defend herself? She is Polka! She is mighty! She's taken down forest monsters on her own before, this was no different. (Actually it's VERY different but nevermind. And she usually uses her umbrella for this, but it should still work. ) ]

Let go I said! Zodiac! [ Hi Selim, have numerous shards forming in the air above and shooting down to stab into the ground. She doesn't know where you are, but if it hits one of the shadows, it'll make the hand let go right? ]

[She might notice that trying to touch the shadow will harm her, as it cuts into her skin. As soon as Selim sees the approaching shards, more mouths appear, opening wide to eat, that's right, eat her shards. He still holds a firm grasps on her.]

[ She's going to have quite a few cuts before the night is through. Despite letting out small yelps of pain, she doesn't let go. ]

Please! Let me go! [ Curse her inability to use her one spell that actually gives off light- she'd be able to see then. And curse her not having a flash light. And ... oh god are those more mouths? And are they actually eating her spell?

Holy crap. Polka is scrambling noise, probably cutting herself up in the process, in an attempt to get free. Thank god she can heal her injuries later or people would have many questions for her. ]
