I have an interview at Waterloo Icehouse tomorrow. I've never been there, but it seems like an easy place to be a waitress at, I hear it's just burgers and bar food. Anyways, waitressing isn't rocket science, it's easy anywhere. I'm glad I finally got off my ass to get a second job, I've been pretty broke lately.
A customer/friend of mine is going to join one of those Austin Rock Gyms, and I guess they have a 2 for 1 special going on right now, and he's going to give me the free membership! I'm so excited about it, I have always wanted to try rock climbing, and i'm pretty sure i'll be great at it.
I realize that the tsunami was this devastating, horrific event, I really do. But doesn't it bother anyone else about the fact that the people who live there don't want us there to help, yet we are still giving them a ton of money? And doesn't it bother anyone else that there are plenty of people who could use charity money in the USA, perhaps the people who just lost their homes and family members in the mudslides, or all the towns messed up by so much rain, or the thousands of homeless people? What's been donated now, like 7 billion dollars (that's what I heard, sorry if thats wrong)... oh what we could do to help our own country with 7 billion dollars. I'm not saying the people in Thailand and etc don't need/deserve donations, I'm just saying that I think it's crappy of them to say they don't want our help. I'll stop ranting and raving now.
