HEATHER!!! I'm sorry I missed your party, I'm a horrible friend! I hope you had a wonderful time though, and a fantastic bday!
Today I got flowers for absolutely NO reason at all! It was also the first time I've ever gotten flowers... Have I ever mentioned how wonderful Shane is? I had to wait all day to come home and open the card, and my parents were just as excited as me. My dad called me a little while ago and was like "I'm dying! Were they from Shane?!" How cute.
My dad gave me my very own key today (I call it a key so I can sound more bartenderish, it's just a bottle opener). It feels like a rite of passage or something. Now I can stick it in my back pocket and look like I know what I'm doing. Although I don't... I messed up lots of mixed drinks today (what kind of people come into a beer bar and order Long Island Iced Teas anyways, though?) but luckily I can pull of the ditsy act perfectly, so when I mess up people feel bad for me and drink their drinks anyways. Awesome.
