Amazing life is amazing
Warning: More Kate being very happy about everything. She is still not filling her livejournal angst quota. She is very sorry about this.
The last couple of days have been pretty great for a number of reasons. Firstly because Toph has had the last couple of days off work so the alarm didn't have to go off at 7.30am and we got to spend more time together (sappy Kate is sappy). We saw the Muppets film today which was really good.
Then I found out today I had got both of my top module choices for next year! I don't know how I seem to keep getting all the choices I want. I think it is because I choose all the ones no one else wants!
I also had a meeting with my supervisor to discuss my dissertation proposal. My dissertation is going to be on the undead in medieval England which my supervisor said was a really good and interesting topic. We went over my plans which he seemed impressed with and then he said he wished he was supervising it because he wanted to read it which I took as a win. Compliments from my tutors always make me so happy :D I love the York history department.
And there was also committee meeting which was long but fun and productive. Everyone seems pretty enthused at the moment which is great and just confirms that SF&F is made up of amazing people.
