Easter Egg hunt!
Today I ran a society Easter egg hunt for 14 people and it went pretty well.
We started with an egg hunt in the tunnel system and then followed with a picnic next to the monster tree. Somehow the weather was fantastic and sunny so we didn't have to move the picnic inside like I had anticipated. There was also a quiz run by Andrew which was very funny and very not serious.
And there was tea. Hot tea. Lots of tea.
I think everyone had a good time. I certainly did. Feeling a little sad though as this time next week I will no longer be president. I know it has been stressful and tiring at times but I have really enjoyed it. I like running things. I like people having a good time. And I quite like being in charge. There is a part of me that is wishing I had decided to do it again.
But there is an even bigger part that knows that would be a bad idea.
I think it is more than not being president is another sign that I'm growing up and i don't know quite what to make of it. I mean I don't feel like an adult at all but I kind of am.
The future. It is a strange and scary place.
