It's nearly 3am, I just watched American Splendor, which I loved. I'm sitting in the office, with the window up enjoying a beautiful spring night in Georgia. Now, the apartment complex in which I currently dwell is full of your typical Emory students; obnoxious JAPs and the like. Loud music often bangs from above or below, within or without, like a more expensive, private dorm. However, with the window up now, music is blaring as if often the case. Instead of a pulsating bass and an impossible-to-decipher song, it is Jill Scott's "A Long Walk." Mind you, the sound quality is quite terrible; unusually, though, the problem is too much treble and not enough bass. It sounds muffled, much like days of yore when music used to be on AM radio. A refreshing sound to be heard, if anything.
