Q. so do you not get your hair wet at all on days that you don't shampoo or do you get it wet, but just not shampoo it?

A. Good question! On the "off" shampoo days, thoroughly soak it in the shower. Then towel dry and go through the mentioned steps.

Bed head is trash. Sumotech takes expertise to use.

For shampoo get Bumble and Bumble Seaweed

For conditioner get Seaweed or the Tonic pre-styling spray.

RESPONSE:

I agree that Bed Head brand styling products in general are no good, however, the shampoo called "Manipulator" is one of the best shampoos on the market because of how well it works in removing product out of your hair. And only in 1 single wash without damaging your hair. There are very few decent shampoos that can do this successfully.

I strongly urge anyone who is going for the "messy" or "bed head" or "chunky" look to NEVER use conditioners or shampoos with conditioners before applying Clay. I meant to include that in my original post. Conditioners are great for those people who use little or no styling product in their hair. In other words, those who like to wear their hair "natural" or "combed". If that's your thing, then great, but do NOT use conditioners if you are going for the look I've described in my original post. It will ruin the look. I assure you.

And regarding B&B's spray hair tonic...it essentially acts like a after-shower conditioner. I know because I tried it out for several weeks. Again, if you want this look I've described to be successful, don't use anything that detangles or conditions before applying Clay. Learn from my mistakes.

Hope this helps!
