Chill Summer nights
So the girl and I got together last night....
No, not like that! Get your mind outta the gutter! lol
We agreed to go to Ghent and get a decent dinner...ended up at Annette's new restaurant **Plug plug*** The Green Onion on Colley Ave across from Dairy Queen.... I couldn't afford it but she insisted on paying for me...$80 later we'd had dinner and a few beers with the ladies...
We went to Cactus because R loves to dance, and dance she did! Me too, but just a little. I had a pretty good time. I really like being around happy people even if they are all sweaty, oh well.
Went home to MY bed alone thank you very much and that's just fine.
I talked to her and basically said:
- Sorry for gettin weird the other night at Karaoke.
- Obviously, I have a crush on you.
- But that's never gonna happen.
- I'd really like to be friends with you, and I think the crush will go away.
She seemed fine with it all. I tried my hardest to not get to weird again. I think I did alright! Tom's right, sleeping in the bed with her isn't the best idea. I'm just askin for hurtin' that way.
I'm glad she's going out to sea for a few weeks next week because she really wants to. Whatever floats her boat lol.
Sorry it's all I'm talking about, but she is what's good in my life at the moment. It changes day to day, moment to moment of course.
Nice not to have drama with her.
I have tomorrow off, joy! I'm visiting a huge-o church in VA Beach. Later plans call for hanging at Greenie's with the ladies.
Yeah and laundry and all that fun stuff too.
