Dominion
I took a "sick" day from work yesterday to go to King's Dominion with T and J. T's my gay boyfriend and J is his boyfriend. The three of us are thinking about moving in together, we all need to find someplace cheaper than our current living situations. We thought we'd spend the day together and see how it was.
KD was great. The weather was awesome, the lines were mostly short. Too bad my FAT ASS can't fit in a bunch of the coasters, but I found a few more that I will fit in! I rode those several times! The wooden coasters were so so shaky and jarring. I really liked riding "rebel yell" backwards!
Parking and admission to the park were more than we expected, so we were left with $17 total between the three of us for lunch. Hah! We went back to the car and drove to burger king across the street so we could afford more than just fries and a pretzel.
We walked and walked and walked - about 3 times around the park. As a result, today I have phlebitis in my legs. Grrr, the only way to get rid of it is to stay off my feet. Good luck with that, I work a 9 hour day on concrete floors today and every day this week. Sheeeeet. I just hope A doesn't ask me to work at the bar too many nights this week.
So we had a good time, stayed from 12-8, and the tickets are good for another day, so we'll go back I hope!
I hadn't talked that much to J before. I really like him, we get along great. I found out he is HIV+. He's doing well. (No, T is not HIV+). Now that I know him better, I really do want to move in with them.
Time to get ready for work... blegh.
