Blinding Pain.

Today I have managed to get one of those blindingly painful headaches that come from having to deal with ignorance. Once again one of my esteemed colleagues has gotten in over his head and the resulting mess somehow ends up in my competent and fashionably manicured hands

A mere side effect to Slytherins, my dear sir. Having to put up with them for all the years of my life has made me somewhat...what's the word..jaded? Consider this a means of compensation.

At any rate, I wouldn't kill you at first glance. But knowing that you'll constantly be tormenting dear Mr. Weasley should be sufficient evidence enough to make you glad that...you torment me just as well.

As such, I do hope you had a splendid holiday doing whatever it is you do. Presents and such. Time with your family and all that. I must always regretably remember that you are....human...of course.
