I'm not even sure what that means...
So today I was doing my Thanksgiving lesson with three junior one classes in a row (which takes some effort let me tell you.) I had them write out four things they are thankful for, a concept that was apparently over a lot of their heads. My favorite response was:
"I teacher thankful teacher turkey for."
I can't complain too much, at least she wrote something down. I also played a game where I write "Happy Thanksgiving," on the board and they have to make words using only those letters. They came up with the usual "think, sing, ant, and pig," always being a big hit, but today I had a little girl come up with "shank," which made me both smile and be afraid.
