So, on Friday I was informed of the story of Eric Volz. Volz is being held in a Nicaraguan prison for a crime that he claims happened when he was two hours away. He also claims to have 10 witnesses that place him two hours away at the time of the murder of his ex-girlfriend Doris Jimenez. He is to serve a 30 year sentence.
After reading the above site, spending a bit of time researching his case, and watching various youtube videos, both for and against, I believe him to be innocent. I decided to write my local, state, and federal officials on his behalf. I also made the decision to let as many people as I can, know about Eric Volz.

There are actually quite a few videos on YouTube pertaining to Eric Volz.
I'm not suggesting you agree with my belief in his innocence, I just want every person I know to be aware of his story. You can make up your own mind about his innocence or guilt. You can simply ignore this, too. But hopefully this has all grabbed your attention enough so that you at least look into the matter a bit more deeply.
As of this post I have managed to tell an even 200 people about it. Hopefully within the next few weeks I'll be able to get some local media outlets interested in the story.
