I've told you in AIM, and I'll tell it again-- I love every bit. I love how very gay Saguru clearly is, in his focus on all their masculine physical traits -- muscles, scent, large hands. I love how he's shy and virginal in a completely not-how-girls-are-taught way, that what he's not sure of is his welcome or their respect, and that he completely expects to enjoy the act. I love how visual he is. I love how that first sight of Heiji, being all kendo star focused, jolts him straight in the gut. I love the flashes of humor in "black belt in judo" and "risky behavior".

I love Ran. Have I mentioned I love Ran? Because she is best girlfriend ever. Also, of all the people to catch Kid... well, up until movie 14, I don't think anyone expected her to be the first to succeed. And what a way to catch him. Mwaha.

Oh, no, it's not that it took the movie to see that she was kickass -- though I admit I needed to reread to facepalm and go "how did I forget that" -- it's that it took the movie to put her in the running for catching Kid first. Because she hasn't been chasing him. :D

You do a lovely snarky-defensive Saguru. The reflexive 'take all the meaning out before they can' is... well, pretty close to my own idea of him sometimes. The constant reminders to himself about how he just doesn't fit... it all goes together.
