You should be crossposting from DW! Import your whole LJ over there and just crosspost - that's what I do. I know you have a DW account, but bb - 2017?!!!!
Oh, I get that. You can import your LJ to DW and do everything in LJ, still - just post in DW (it's almost identical, just a couple changes to the code), and that way you have the best of both worlds: no Russian overlords, and all your LJ people, still, plus any new DW people you pick up.
There's some really good fandom communities over there, too.
I read my LJ flist (sadly, it's gotten smaller), and then i read my DW flist, tra la!
Warning: some folks have been saying that Dreamwidth has stopped cross posting to LJ. Some change happened) probably LJ side of things) I don't know this for a fact myself, just what I read. But I think it will still import from LJ as far as moving all your fic over.
Not in my experience. If you change your LJ password, it won't crosspost, because DW has to know that in order to access it, and I've had it glitch a time or two and not do it, but I and several LJ/DW people crosspost on the regular.
So i think anyone having issues needs to troubleshoot, because it's still up and running fine.
Oh, that makes sense. Where do you even go in DW to change your LJ password. It's been so long ago. I think I'd have the same problem if I tried it. I usually just copy and paste the html though. I am a deep in the bone luddite.
You are such a goober. :D
*luffs hard*
