On a quiet night
With each star in it's position
I might be able to see a shimmer in your eye
But it's probably too faint to be noticeable
If the temperature drops
Maybe you'll shiver
Standing there exposed for everyone to see
If you're too numb to feel then you aren't hiding it well
There's no use holding you
The cold doesn't have the same effect as it used to
There's no point to standing out in the rain anymore
These walls are thin and I can hear your muffled sobs
In the dead of night
I can hear you scream from the streetlights
But I don't bother lifting my head anymore
Because it's a sure thing
