(no subject)
Who makes collages in college? The most work out of all my classes are in Speech class.. she's a ridiculous woman who is wayy too theatrical for my liking, she takes it too seriously.
So I like LIU, despite some oddities such as this dude who comes in on some shit.. probably crack.. and just flips the fuck out. I'll be sitting on a bench with suzie and he'll just come stumbling from some pocket of the campus screaming to the grass as if it were his audience. The best was when he came dressed up as Stevie Wonder complete with a wig. Unfortunately I was probably the only witness. Other than that.. it's pretty cool. I did pretty good last semester because I worked my ass off. Now i'm increasingly slacking and it's not going so hot.
So that's school. Work is okay. I babysit for this chick who found me on a babysitting site I was on a few years ago. It's been a little over a year i've been helping her out.. the kids are a handful but she pays SO good. Like 20 dollars extra a day on top of 10 an hour. It's also good for OT preparation.. one girl has (I believe) down's syndrome. But her mother is in denial.. She believes she just has a learning disability. Meanwhile she's on a 3rd grade level and supposed to be in 9th grade. I don't think it's just a learning disability, on top of her physical features. It's sad when people are in denial. The other girl is a real cutie.. when she's not throwing tantrums louder than anything heard on the planet. It's nice to have alot of money and want to give your kids everything they want.. but how are they gonna learn in the real world?
Meh. I miss Alina. I'm so glad we reconciled a few months back. 5 years.. shit. I love her and I know she's going through a rough time right now but she'll pull through. Sucks she's in Phili though and I can't be there for her right now. I was going to hop on a train thursday to go stay with her.. but my mom convinced me not to due to the snow. I'll probably go next weekend.
I need to really go and study my ass off now. How is everyone else doing?
