What do you like most about being a student?

What do you hate most?

(You don't have to be a student now for this question to apply to you. And I mean student as in the academic sense)

I lurve your icon.

I love that you can use it as an excuse for anything. At work "Well, I have finals..."

I hate other students.

I love:
Playing with (dangerous) chemicals, being able to break glass without guilt

I hate:
The long hours :\ I don't know anyone else who has 23 and a half hours a week at school.

Oh yes, chemicals! I forgot about that one. I'm almost done with my chemistry though, and biology labs just arent as mad scientist-diabolical.

Yes, that's why I'm gravitating towards chemistry these days! Chem labs are hardcore, although I fear for my reproductive abities each time I play, but biology labs tend to be meh.

I love bio labs (chem is fun but any more than what i've got and i'll eat bleach).

Your reproductive comment made me giggle. At work I put 100ul of ethidium bromide into my gel today instead of 10ul - it obviously turned quite pink, and as I was pouring the hot gel into the waste container I was an idiot and poured in in some way that made it go all over the floor and on my shoes. They made me throw them away so I won't get foot cancer :(

No time to devote to anything else except school. Can't wait to get back to the real world.

-> I love learning. Pure and simple. I really like learning new things and getting to discuss them with others.

-> I hate the schedule. When I'm in school, I feel like I should *always* be working. I've never been good at balancing "work now" time with "play now" time. I just sort of put off one or the other.

1. when you get a good grade and watch your GPA go up it's like a reward. You can sit on your computer and do most of the work required for school. You learn interesting things with not much effort if you attend lectures.

2. The other students.
