Lady Problems

Long story short I don't tend to get a regular period because of the pill I take, and when I do it's generally super light and almost painless. About a week ago, I started my period out of the blue, it started off with A LOT of bad back pain, which hasn't eased up at all and i'm bleeding quite heavily - or at least heavily compared to what usually ( Read more... )

No, no, not at all! If nothing is better by monday (and it is getting worse. Ive been lying in bed all day now, I can't get up without being in immense pain) im just going to go to A&E and cause a scene if nobody sees me.

I know the pain of NHS!
Defo go A&E if you need to, don't suffer in silence for 2 weeks! You may have to wait a while until they can see you but you WILL be seen eventually, and on that day, not 2 weeks from then.

also check this website. You probably already know if there's one near you, but this site enables you to put in your postcode and see if there's a walk-in centre close to you. I'm lucky to have one right by me and it's a god send for stuff like that!

Oh I totally forgot, you could also ring NHS Direct:

They're 24hr and take all your information/symptoms etc and a nurse will ring you back and give you advice and tell you wether you need to go to a&e or not. Rang them before and they were great, really helpful.
