4wd NOT AWD
Dear a_m_a, are there any passenger cars still being sold in the USA that have 4wd on demand (not just all-wheel drive, though it's okay if it has that, but some kind of button or lever which you can use to put the vehicle into 4-wheel drive)? Bonus points if it is not a giant SUV type vehicle, as it's intended for a 60-something just-over-five-foot woman who needs 4wd occasionally for snow conditions and won't be going offroad or anything like that...

You google this and give me an answer. I even get incorrect answers talking to dealerships, I have to ask the question three times to get the correct answer (because while AWD is technically 4wd, it's not what I'm looking for. And while I know I can probably find a giant SUV or off-road type vehicle that has on-demand 4wd, I'm looking for a regular car... Boo on you.
