So I'm friends with this girl. Not close close friends, but we've hung out a few times, we talk online. She's moving to California in a few weeks. So we were talking on facebook about how I've never been to The Cheesecake Factory and she was like "Well I'm free this weekend if you want to go". So I said okay. Yeah, you're WAY over thinking this. Calm down. :)

1. she suggested the meal
2. her parents are already buying her a meal there, so why would she need you to?

I'd just bring her a card or something.

I would be like, "You can put her cheesecake on my bill" so that the server and your friend know that it's two separate checks but you're doing what you can.

This, completely, totally and sincerely. You are WAY over thinking this. I can't even fathom why you would have to pay for her meal in this situation.

I tend to always overthink everything :/.
I guess I thought well a dinner taking place so close to her birthday, especially since it's the last time I'll see her for probably years, she might think I'm buying her food.
A card is a good idea, thanks.
