Have you ever sent an email / text / whatever to the wrong person that has ended badly or been embarrassing?

Once I was having trouble talking my roomate, M into going to a party so I sent a message to who I thought was the host of the party saying something like "M's being a brat, call her and tell her to get her ass out of her room". Of course I accidentally sent it to M. Thankfully she found it amusing and we laughed it off.

I texted my best friend's very Catholic mom (who has the same name as an old co-worker of mine who smokes a lot of weed) and asked her if she wanted to buy drugs. I have never been so embarrassed in my entire life. Ever.

She texted me chewing me out and then called my parents who were convinced I was tied up with violent cartel types and was putting myself and the family in danger. That was probably my most significant fuck up ever.

I once text my dad by accident asking if he could get me any coke.
You know when a text sends, and you have the option to 'cancel' but no matter how much you frantically click cancel it still sends?
Well for the first time in my life it actually worked. Crisis averted.

My boss and my ex have the same first name. I ended up texting a long, weird question about lab equipment to the ex who I hadn't had any contact with for over half a year. Not so much embarrassing but he sent me a very confused, kind of sad text saying something like, "Don't you remember who this is? I'm sorry but I don't know anything about the autoclave."

Luckily, I never sent the boss any of the bf's texts when we were dating, LOL.

One time I was having some beers with my brother and he accidentally texted his female boss instead of his girlfriend, "Hey baby, I'm buzzin', you should roll over tonight." I had a great laugh at his expense.
