We're getting lots of snow now here, and I need a new pair of winter boots. I'm currently using a classic pair of Uggs (I know, hideous, but they're warm and I waterproofed them). At work, we're permitted to wear jeans in inclement weather, so my standard attire has been jeans tucked into the Uggs with a warm shirt and hoodie/sweater on top. I need a new pair of boots - I'm sick of the Uggs and after several years, they're finally wearing out.
Can you show me or tell me what boots are good for snowy weather but can also double as not too terrible for work attire with jeans? What footwear are you wearing this winter season?
