Easy lunch stuff?

Hi AMA'ers. I start my six day (9 hours a day) orientation for a long-term on the job training program on Monday. My mom bought me a cute green lunch bag that matches my water bottle and she bought me a bunch of small Tupperware boxes. I would like to take light, cheap, and preferably cold (read: not required to heat it up) foods to take with me. ( Read more... )

My mom bought it at walmart. I'll see if I can take a picture of it and link you later today. And leftovers, maybe. Depends on what we have. XD

How about a bento lunch? Cut strips of veggies and add humus or a dip of some sort. To go with those you could make a fruit wrap (tortilla, peanut butter and bananas/apples/whatever).

pasta salads, veggies with dip, hummus, different wraps, sushi, fruit salads with yogurt and granola

Not big on pasta salads. I bought some veggies, hummus, and whole grain tortillas to make some wraps. Oh, and some fruit with yogurt and granola. Thanks!
