Have a little respect, kids!!!

i've been hurt many times in the past...many things that people have said to me, or done to me, that i just can NOT forget. i may forgive eventually, but never, will i ever forget. as a result of all this pain, i have become a very bitter and cynical person. my hatred is directed towards the majority of the human population. today, two of the awfully painful times i have ever experienced walked into my life, so i'm posting this information for one reason alone. to get my point across that "friends" is not another word for "be nice to someone and then fuck them over." if you read this, i am asking a few things of you.

please think before you act: think about how you would feel if that hurtful thing was done to you. no one likes the feeling of their heart being ripped out of their chest...

have respect for the feelings of others:  be nice to your friends. friends come and go, but if you find a good one, don't screw it up and lose something wonderful that can't be replaced.

respect the "golden rules" of friendship: no matter how dumb you think they are, respect the "rules". boundaries is really the right word...there's a line that you do NOT cross, under any circumstances. respect it. its there for a reason, as i have experienced.

and last but not less important, reduce the pain as much as you can: if you're doing something that you know is painful for someone you care for, then stop! its not a difficult concept. your friend won't get used to it over time. it doesn't work that way. sometimes you just have to sacrifice something, even if its your friendship...you can't have it your way everytime.

i hope you're happy now...
