I didn't take them. I hid them. The difference is very Captain Jack. Choose to find it charming!

You can't run off and have adventures with the Doctor if you're not wearing shoes. How often have you seen the Doctor running with a shoeless butler? NONE TIMES, is the answer.

They were cunningly placed in a box marked Ianto's Shoes. Knowing Jack's method of filing, I never thought to look there, to be frank.

If you only had your socks to paddle around in (I mean sans shoes, not sans everything else) did that get you out of messy jobs like mopping the autopsy bay and chasing weevils in the rain (as opposed to weevil hunting, which probably doesn't require socks at all)?

He left me two pair, for working in, plus my wellies. But it's very hard to go jogging in wellies!
