Alien Activity: The Doctor has shown up and appears to be stranded. This is a previous incarnation in his own timeline, apparently, as he appears not to know Jack. His illegally-parked police box was confiscated but released upon the understanding that access was required for world-saving activities. Jack and the Doctor got... sparkly. I am not jealous and offered to help fix his TARDIS. I set myself on fire was given a tour.
Hart and a Weevil crashed a Renaissance Festival in Swansea but I honestly am not sure they did it on purpose, may have been driven to it by Rbrezels. Complaints were made but being fair Hart did turn in a report. It's... stunning, I think is the word. We'll go with stunning.
Torchwood may also have encountered a Nestene Consciousness and played fetch with Max with it.
Allied Organisations: Rhys was vital in assisting with the confiscation of the Police Box. Andy researched, requested, and was provided with Pizza Chips. He also appears to be me. One of our civilians did a poll about Torchwood members cosplaying. I wanted to be Gunn. :(
Security: John Hart was in several verbal and semi-physical altercations with the Doctor or TARDIS. Hart also attempted to knock Jack unconscious so he could revive him, but was unsuccessful ( Jack's poor nose!). That being said, Hart's training continues with some success.
Supplies: Must purchase tea after Jack attempted to make some for the Doctor and coffee after Hart attempted to make some for Jack (NB scroll down for discussion of robot sex, crossfile under "Spoilers"). Gwen brought fairy cakes, though, that was sweet of her (also has inspired sourcing for sonic hoovers). I bought more dinnerware after Jack and Hart shot it all in the face. My fault for planting the idea.
Staff: John Hart has been sent to Snowdonia for the weekend. We have confirmed that Max did not go with him, despite taunting to the contrary. Gwen and I are still lobbying for an actual doctor to replace Owen rather than a bottle of fizzy water. Max was briefly abducted by alien but seemed to enjoy it. He has also been trained to fetch coffee.
Community Outreach: Gwen polled the public regarding charities. Looks like a Wii is in our future! Jack advised an American teen about snogging ( Hart advised bombs) and a desperate lesbian on her marital situation. Limericks were composed. Jack wrote a mini-feature on belly dancing. Andy was briefly but vividly educated regarding obscure sex toys. Spice flowed.
Spoilers and Historical Notes: Rhys is the only human to successfully (non-fatally) operate the singularity scalpel. Ghostbusters will always be a classic! Jack once saved Hart from Marlene Dietrich and may have had a history in the gaming industry.
Personal Notes: Gwen and I are still dorks. I had a moment of insecurity but it...passed. Instead, Jack and I are going to the Easter Fair.
We all made a lot of jokes about Uranus this week. No, really, a LOT. To be fair, Uranus is pretty funny.
