Hello...

Hello all - all being Jenn Salamh, maybe Nicole, and a few stragglers. Haha. Well my big news is that I'm going to South Beach, Florida May 3rd-7th. I'm going with Dave, Jordan, Angie, and Kirby. It should be a lot of fun and I am so excited to be taking a fun vacation - especially with some great people. I will hopefully get to meet up with Jeff and Paul who live in Miami and maybe they can play tour guides for a little while. I'm so excited to go to a beach. I never was really a beach girl, but I had so much fun when I went to Atlantic City last and Florida is way better than AC.

This weekend is the NYC car show. I'm actually really excited. We're going to have awful rainy weather, but that's not keeping me down. I've never been to a car show, my mom has been to this on back in the day and she said she was never into cars and she had a great time. I really like minis and I think it'll be interesting to see the new concept cars, so I'm in!

Last weekend I went to Baltimore with Dave and we met up with my Uncle and Aunt. I haven't been to the Aquarium in ages so it was a lot of fun to see. There just happened to be a frog exibit so that was even better! After that we met up with my Uncle and Aunt to go to dinner at the Rusty Scupper. I didn't realize quite how expensive it was - luckily they picked up the $140 bill. Whew! Seafood is expensive! My Uncle and Aunt loved Dave, my Aunt said he was really cute and my Uncle said he seems like a real stand up guy. So A+ to my boo-buh! Sunday Dave and I went to his great Aunts, daughters house for Easter dinner. It was so good. It's hard for him and I to find stuff to eat sometimes (we're very picky). Everything was soooo good though. They his parents gave us each a grocery bag of candy (I'll have candy until Halloween!). My parents were camping with the Eshelman's near Pittsburgh. There was no way I was going camping with my allergies. Not this time of year.

Speaking of allergies. I finally went to the doctor. My doctor is amazing. She's actually a people person and a doctor. Seems sometimes it isn't always that way. They know their shit, sure, but they don't know how to talk to their patients. Not the case with mine. Anyway she gave me an entire bag of different allergy medicines to try - told me all about each one and said to just call in the one I like and they'll call in my persricption. Yay! Hopefully one of these helps.

The weekend before that we went to Baltimore to go to the Aquarium - and got there too late. But it was def okay because we got to go to my favorite restaurant, Sabitino's - in Little Italy. It was nummy. I don't know how much Dave liked it, he said it was homey though. We walked around Baltimore for a little and it was great. I can't say I was thrilled with missing the Aquarium, but I really like being around Dave so that seems to make up for it. Which is weird, because we all know how much of a baby I can be. Only child right here! Oh we missed the Aquarium because we took a detour and went to Towson Mall. Which was actually really good. I got a jacket, a skirt (for Miami), and some earrings (which I should have just put back) all at Nordstrom's Rack. Yay for cheaper Nordstroms stuff!

May 13th it looks like my friend Melissa Kralik will be coming up to visit. It's also Mother's Day weekend. I think I will get my mommy some mums...since she's my mummy har har har. Actually she always seems to like Mums - I think they remind her of my grammy. I haven't seen Melissa in ages so it'll be nice to have her in Lancaster. I'll have to plan out something fun. Especially since I don't have a tv. Maybe she'll bring Chance! I think she probably will. Chance is her little Yorkie.

I got my tax refund... it was a lot (for me). Josh bought a house and it took him 3 months to save up the down payment. The down payment was more than I made all last year. I can't say I'm too disappointed where I am in life. I'm very happy. I can pay my bills and I actually am paying all of my bills. All my boys are buying houses making 3 times what I will make this coming year - though they live in an area where the living expenses are two times as much as mine. I never really worried about money. I'm poor, don't get me wrong, but it is because I always have my parents to fall back on. I had this conversation with my mom. It's nice to know you have that "pillow" to fall back on, but it makes me feel good that they're not paying my bills anymore. I don't know where I'm going with this...

Anyway, life is still really good. I feel like I'm doing so much and I really miss all my friends - but I know that they're always be my friends and I'm 24, so live it up!
