the longest day in a long time
today i was sitting in photography class and todd was discussing our work when the fire alarm went off (and lemme tell ya that thing is LOUD) So we all kinda looked around like...what do we do...haha and todd said, "Well we're just gonna end class," (that was only an hour into a 4 hour class by the way), "so grab your pictures and if you have questions about next week's assignment, ask me out there!" So we all hightailed it down the stairs and out to the sidewalk.
this is the third time this week we've had a bomb threat.
i have never seen so many people at once on that campus and as i walked through the mob of people, i didn't see one person i knew haha. then i found mike and talked to him for a bit and then kate, who happened to be across the way from me. so we talked and becky came over then sarah came too and kate's friends from western civ class. there were ambulances and fire trucks and stuff. they blocked the entrance for a while so nobody could leave so we just decided to stay until it cleared up. a teacher came out to announce the classes were cancelled and to tell us there was a package in the cafeteria and if it was ours we should claim it (of course this is her screaming to hundreds of us standing there ha) and pablo says all serious, "yeah, umm, im thinking someone needs to claim this package guys," then flashed us a big smile. we were like, "Yeah man, you do that ha."
then we hopped in kate's car and went to meet jen and greg across the way at old navy. on our way, kate and i got the full description of the "suspect," who called HM from CM on a payphone and was caught on the video camera (idiot). how did we get this? kate's windows we open and the police were talking as they directed us :) haha so brandon and sarah also came. we found pablo and quincy outside of hershey's.

i then went home and printed off the business test and met hayley in haymarket.
we went to uno's to get coffee and lunch and take care of the test (the teacher said we can work together). johnny was just getting on his shift but came over to say hey. then hayley's friend katie joined us for a little while and we got some accomplished. our waiter seemed to be ignoring us after we paid though, we were there for a good two hours. he kept coming by, "are you guys still doing alright? take your time!" but we knew we wanted us gone haha. we wanted more coffee (well i did, she wanted more tea ha) but he didnt come back.
so we moved to panera bread where i got chai tea and she got hot chocolate. (way too much caffeine for one day) we got the internet going and finished the questions except for like one and watched a slow train go by as the storm came on. thunder, lightning, and the whole shebang. i loved it.
we left there to type up our paper in the nova library and saw joey and danielle.
we were late to class after all the typing and printing haha by like 15 minutes so it wasnt too bad.
on break we went outside, it was still raining. joey walked up and we talked with him for a few. we were trying to avoid the smokers that were smoking in the no-smoking area, who ignore the "designated smoking area" signs on the gazebos. in fact, they might not even know what the gazebos are, but whatever haha. we went back for the last half of class.
hayley drove me to my car and shontae greeted me with a hug a fosters! haha. i went in and talked to her, brian, blake, and briana for a bit then we all went to sheetz (except brian) and got sandwiches. geran came and we talked to him for a bit. said we might go to his uno's tomorrow (manassas) and see him instead of g-ville like the usual friday (that's if i get back from the show on time). so everyone left, i dropped off shontae and came home.
