while working today, a woman came up to order, i rang her up and before she walked away she looked at the tv (which was showing Katrina damage, etc) and she looked at me and said, "You know, the people from the hurricane should have to pay for their evacuation." It took all my energy to bite my tongue and not respond to this lady. These people lost their homes, their jobs, their family members, their lives...don't you think they've paid enough already? I suppose you think the dead should bury themselves, too.
I just can't believe some people. It blows my mind.
