I wish I could go back and tell my high school self to not be an idiot and take the programming class, not the pagemaker class. But because I thought I was going to either be an author (that should be read dripping with sarcasm, I can't even tell where to place a comma, much less form a cohesive well flowing story-line) or somehow make a career out of Photoshopping shit, I listened to my high school counselor and took a pagemaker class because it was "easy".
I feel I should add at this point that I had already been using pagemaker for two years in my newspaper class, and we were moving on to InDesign, because it was better. I should have just taken the programming class that would have been harder, but I knew I could handle, and spared myself the $300+ I'm about to pay this fall semester to take intro to programing. And maybe my programming skills will finally be on par with a 15 year-old.
