Carnivorous
lalala I still exist, I love this weekend because
1. I ate a whole steak, with Bratkartoffeln (fried potatoes) that were incredible, and broccoli.
2. bacon and eggs for breakfast on Saturday. I hadn't had bacon since I left the Krankenhaus.
3. Sweet and sour pork in Frankfurt, it was tasty and familiar, and much better than the stuff in GP
4. THE CHICKEN we had for lunch/dinner. It was cooked with apples inside and around it, and also with calvados, which is apple brandy from Normandy. And it was soooooo good. I even ate the apples that were inside of it! They had turned to chickeny-apple sauce. Oh my god.
I barely eat meat here. I don't cook it and my friends don't eat it. It's very sad sometimes.
Mmmmmmmmmeat.
Speaking of Slumber Party, a bunch of us were supposed to have one Tuesday night to wait for the election results to start coming in. Even though, you know, we'd be awake ALL NIGHT. But apparently it's not likely to happen. : (
I also love this weekend because
5. The journey to my aunt's city was a very pleasant 3-hour train ride, during which I read like 70 pages of a novel in German that's about Berlin right after the fall of the wall and it all makes sense and is really good!!!
