Fun and games part 2
Weeeeell.
The Landlord shows up yesterday afternoon and was absolutly gobsmacked by the damage. A builder type guy came in and made in structurally safe. However we still have a big gaping whole in the ceiling which is pouring water everywhere. we have another builder coming tomorrow to look at the roof and plaster up the whole. Maybe John can move back in then. Really quite funny cos the folk moving into our house next year text me to see if they could have another look round and move some of their stuff, and i had to say, well sure. but one room has no ceiling, another has flooded, and another has 3 peoples worth of belongings in it. the liveing room is now a bedroom and there are builders everywhere. they weren't amused. (actually i get the impression that they thought i was drunk, which probably wasn't helped by the fact that i was drunk.)
On another note. I made the concious desision to post all my fanfic to my journal rather than direct to lj. that way i can keep my comments forever. i am also still on the eternal voyage of of finding out how to add graphics to my lj. i managed to java up my myspace and lj is so much better and cooler that i want to do the same here. sigh... ah well... i spend too much time at my computer. i was hoping that after exams finished fun and games would be had. but half the house has moved out and i have little to do. sleeping till 11am was col though. however rudely woken by my landlord phoning. does he not know that students on holiday get up at 2pm? crazy person!
