+ The Aeros broke their road-game losing streak last night!
+ Jonas Brodin finally played again in last night's game (he's been out since his collarbone was broken on a hit by Taylor Hall back at the beginning of November), and that was all the Wild were waiting for before recalling him to MN.
+ Marco Scandella's finally healthy enough that he's supposed to play for the Aeros on the next game of their road trip, and I assume if he's healthy he'll get called back to MN, too. Although I'm not sure where there's roster space for him, because I'm assuming Brodin's return means Dumba will be sent back to Red Deer. Unless Spurgeon's really hurt, in which case... way to break your defensemen early on, Wild.
---- Seriously, I get that it's just rumor at this point, but if PK Subban gets traded to the Flyers he will be dead to me, and that is very sad-making. If a trade must happen, at least let it be to the Wings, who I don't have strong feelings about. Also, LOLLLLLL Wings fanbase panicking about the Lidstrom-less team. Your team has made it to playoffs for 21 consecutive years. Calm down. One off year is not the end of the world.
Totally earwormed myself with Cake's Going The Distance, so I'm going to go listen to that. And ponder the joy that is a day without my boss coming to check on me every couple of hours. (He's out of town for the next couple of days.)
ETA: Did the Wild seriously give Dumba #55? Seriously? So his jersey name/# combo is DUMBA55? Well done, equipment manager!
