Our washing machine died just as I was washing all the clothes I want to take on vacation. D:
But when I was at the laundromat doing all the wash, instead of the cleaning I'd do if I were at home, I plotted more about Jess Skinner.
Eventually she's going to end up with eStaal, but until then, Jess/PK/Carey is my and her OT3. (Jess has so many ~opinions as the outsider POV on PK/Carey, god, I could think about that for days.) But then I was thinking about how, after Jess and Eric are together, even if they aren't making any public statements about it, Eric's still jealous whenever they go to Montreal and she hangs out with PK & Carey. And it's dumb, because he knows that's over, but still. He really really has a hard time restraining his impulse to make sure they know she's his now. He wants to give her a ring, but he knows she's not ready for one (they aren't ready for one, really) and even understands why she doesn't want one. Instead he gives her an emerald pendant on a sturdy platinum chain (WHAT? IT IS HER BIRTHSTONE. He would've gone with a diamond. He will buy her a diamond. Someday.) and likes to see that she wears it all the time, in practice, in the locker room, and most especially that it dangles outside the collar of her shirt when she changes into jeans and boots and heads out to meet PK & Carey at a bar after their team dinner.
ANYWAY.
About last night: Dear Tim, Joe, Brandon, and Zach: ILU. And now I have to go re-read (and download for my kindle)
Faith In Fast Cars.
Aaand back to cleaning.
