Happy making things for the week:
1. SarahO & BUrie posted engagement pics. :) They look so happy, all the haters can suck it. (I also really appreciated his tweet.)
2. NHLPA/NHL ownership talks are going nowhere, but can we talk about how ripped Gabe Landeskog is right now? I mean, all of the players are, because they've had the summer to rebuild muscle mass and train, but WOW. (Also, he is 19. I have ~opinions about the Avs naming him team captain, but they are warring with my vague sense of horror that he is such a baby.)
3. This sums up my life philosophy pretty accurately.
4. With respect to #3, THESE DUDES IN SIX DAYS.

D: Our cats have never been interested in people-food, and when we've given them pieces of leftover sushi, they ignore it. We tried switching them to wet food from dry, once upon a time, because we thought it'd be easier to manage their diets, but neither of them ate it, and they fought miserably. But at the last check-up we learned that Sandy had high blood sugar, so we're really trying to manage her diet without starving Dante (he lost 1.5 lbs, while she gained 1 between visits). I tried mixing dry food into the wet food, to transition them, but Dante basically picked out all the nuggets of dry food and splattered bits of wet food all over the floor. In two days, the pair of them have consumed less than half of one can of cat food. We shall see how this goes. He can't afford to lose any more weight. :/
