I am so fucking tired of the way an acquaintance uses "growing a vagina" as a derogatory comment about a man needing to take a break, stop drinking, or whatever.
I mean, this guy says it on a regular basis. Today he said it to me and another woman when describing another (male) mutual acquaintance who got drunk at the Art Car Parade and went home to sleep it off instead of continuing a pub crawl with us.
My response? "There are two people here who were born with vaginas, and we didn't fuck off for a nap. Maybe you should find another insult for him."
But it was clear to me that he seriously did not understand why I was bothered.
Of course, this was after the same people commented on a car being "gay".
I just. WHAT? I don't even know what that means - they were talking about yet another friend's Honda Fit. A small, fuel efficient car is not masculine enough for them, I guess?
How do they think this is okay?
