I HATE that the local channel CUTS OFF the end of the show to go to fucking infomercials - The Resolution WASN'T OVER YET.

I HATE when they do that. Of course, I was saying as much to my best friend today as I was joking around with her, because she just got a job working for Master Control for the local broadcast company that handles Fox and The CW locally, and I'd never really thought about this. But apparently they have a log timed to the second of when they have to take things, and if they mess up, they have to file a report to the FCC. So, if say, they take one commercial too early, then another, then another, that's three files. Holy shit. I feel your pain, but I'd be cutting off shows too if it meant I didn't have to file 20 reports.

Hmm, I guess I didn't realize it was that tightly regulated. I suppose it's understandable... but still. That always happens when it's a band I want to see: it happened for PATD, FOB, and JM. >:/

That drives me crazy when local channels do that. Don't they get paid for making sure you have enough time?

Ahhhhh. And Birthday Porn:)

It was as good as can be expected under thos circumstances, where the show broadcasts three songs spread over an hour. I was disappointed that they only performed songs from OBTN, but again, format probably dictated those, too. I love my DVR a lot, though, b/c that means I can skip the inane interview (Vieira makes me wince, srsly; where does she do her research? Does she do any background research?) when I re-watch it, and just focus on the performance. I'm getting pretty psyched that they're at ACL this year. :)
