I just started reading Thomas Frank's "What's the Matter With Kansas: How Conservatives Won the Heart of America"... and it's really very interesting so far. Frank has a very informal writing style... which is nice for me but makes the scholar inside question him. oh boy. Anyway, we were supposed to have to read it for theory (Monteiro had us buy it!) but I don't think we are anymore. But yesterday in class he started reading some of it, and since I didn't schedule myself to start homework until 10:15, I decided to read a little. I like it so far. It's intriguing.
anyway, it's Wednesday and that means it isn't Tuesday, which is good. And tomorrow is Thursday! And then Friday, and I am going to go see the musical, which is nice. by the way, any of y'all going to see it? Let me know when!
