Aug 29, 2008 22:27

Today I was thinking back to my postage over the years, both TP and tC, all the way back to when I first got into forum RPing back in 2002. i thought back to what were some of my bests posts--posts that either got me all kinds of compliments and what not. Some were personal favorites. This list is nowhere near complete, but its all those I can remember.

  • ME:tC
    • The Origin of Asimov Isaacs and Alyssa Parsons--Tells the story of the rise and fall of the CAED Initiative
    • Naze Nani: ComNB--Me having fun with characters and the setting in a small play/transcript
    • The Anna Millers Breakfast Incident--Asimovs bad luck strikes and he is simultaneous assualted by the entire Anna Millers breakfast menu
    • Asimov and Tohya's First Date--Asimov and Tohya make a love connection at a CoM Rave
    • Asimov phones it in--Post written as if just a discussion within the Plot Chat Room.
    • Magical Girl Megatokyo's Final Battle--Confrontation between magical girls and the powerful evil that is Silver
    • Hel 's Loses her Virginity--The formerly disembodied Hel gains a humaniform embodiment and, after pleasuring herself accidentally, fails in her first sexual experience.
    • First Advent--Introduction into the Advent in Megatokyo universe.
    • The Eye of Prophesy--In which the beast Cassandra foretells the future...while the post itself is written in non-linear combinations of flash forwards and flashbacks.
    • The Seduction--In which a main character is seduced by a married woman fifteen years his senior, setting off the events that lead to the unfinished, and downright disastrous end of the Advent in Megatokyo.
    • Beatrix: Adventures across the Continuum--Unfinished play/transcript that tells the story of Beatrix, a new character forced to chase her Author across the many worlds of the BfC Continuum. Crossed over into several ongoing plotlines, before colliding headlong into the Advent and, if finished, would have provided closure on the meaning of that worlds existence.
  • Title Pending
    • The First Encounter between Asimov and Meideline--How they met on a train and on what that means to both of them.
    • Asimov becomes a Girl--One magical body switching later, Asimov and Mei trade places...and he realizes that he finds his own body attractive when he's Mei. \
    • Maria Aijou explains Fatebreaking--When AziMei meet up with this shrine maiden, they learn just how important connections between people truly are.
    • The Final Sign of the End of History--Asimov uses Mjollnir effectively for the first time, and begins realizing his potential as a Runologist
    • The Death of Asakaze Ayanami--My first really well researched fight sequence, it doesn't hold up when compared to my more recent ones...but, for its time, it was pretty good. Also the first time I eliminated a character I liked, for story purposes.
    • Countdown to Continuity Crisis--A series of posts set across several versions of the year 2032, it introduced such things as Lilith Isaacs (perverted shota-con sister of Esau), Kimihiro and Karen Motosuwa, Setsuna Ayanami, the Tokyo Unrestricted Zone, the Iron Heights, and the Dawn of Disaster. Was followed up on by Jubai with the excellent Winter of Discovery arc.
    • Hostage Crisis: Horrifically violent post describing an act by the Society.
    • The Rise of Noahs harem--in which I create 20 female characters, just to prove I can. Followed up on by The Crusade and The Crusaders which left Noah haremless.
    • Till Death--After several false starts, with this sequence Renee Evangel became a useful and interesting character, with a unique and varies subcast and more than capable of being a main character.
    • Chihiro's New Power--After Opt lost the Chihiro character, I asked to use her again. I rebooted her and introduced several twists onto her character, culminating in a new powerset and friend for life, Sakura Aijou.
    • The Mahou Shoujo War--A thematic sequel to Magical Girl Megatokyo it has more girls, more battles, greater stakes, and more magical spells than you can shake a stick at. Also serves as a general prelude to FTP! and a revamp on the Emi Katsu character. Introduces Mizuho Fujioka, a crossdressing boy attending a girls school.
    • The Wedding of Asimov and Meideline--Asimov and Mei get married, helped by friends, and bound together by the sacred words of a God (Loki).
    • Last Circuit--A runaway train and a group of teenagers with superpowers.
    • Continuity Crisis--The culmination of 4 years of TP plotting in an over-the-top post that transcends time and space and places the least likely hero in direct conflict against the most destructive force in the TPverse. Also of note for the only appearence of a Stick Figure in TP.
    • Upcoming...Magical Encounters, The Second Encounter, After the Play.
If you have any others you think you can bring up...or, you want to list your own Best Posts, go right ahead please.
