Sakura in Yoshino and a City Confidential
The third part of FTP! Act 4: Amusements is done...but I'm not all that satisfied with it. The Origin of the Black Cherry Blossom Tree is only so-so at best--not because of what happens in the story itself, as much as how I express it. I've never written a story quite like it and so it doesn't have the right impact. Unlike Continuity Crisis! 3 , where I managed to pull off the insane, long, and epic finale of a 4 (or 5, if you count BfC) year plotline, Sakura in Yoshino, Part 3: Grow into a Furor! is a little lame. THis is probably due to lack of practice. Before the Crisis I'd written 3 previous event driven storylines (the end of the Prometheus Arc, theMetamorphosis cycle, and Mahou Shoujo War), getting better with the climax each time. Horror? I don't think I hit it, although I might hit nasty.
