After the Crisis
Me being me, I've already begun to half plan ahead for events past the Continuity Crisis. Using a more comic book approach to how I design and plan events and plot arcs, I've roughly sketched out a years worth of events, leading up to TP 2007. I've also come up with a few possible thread names. So the following is only a possible path i've plotted out. I'll also give some info on what a plot might be like.
- June/July/August 2006: [Thread] New Beginnings Over Summer
- [miniseries crossover] Pure Fantasy Online: A group of characters get stuck inside an MMORPG.
- [one shot] The Association: A post that gives a rundown as to what happens to the Hero Corps after the Crisis and how a new organization of Hero's forms. Introduces the three teams of the Association: Aftermath, Aftershock, and Afterburners. Each team has a different goal. The Aftermath use the list of post-humans Hela Himeya releases on Graduation Day to track down the descendants of post-humans used by the government in earlier periods. The Aftershock are the most powerful of the post-human Hero's and only come out to deal with the most dangerous of events. The Afterburners try to provide a home and purpose for those post-humans who cannot pass off as human.
- [ongoing] FairyTale Panic! My main plot line for the 2006/2007 year, it will involve the rarely used Scott Orsen. Most of my subplots and smaller plot arcs will spin out of this story, which will eventually lead to an event in 2007.
- September/October 2006: [Thread] School in Love and Chaos
- [miniseries] The Association - "The Search for Respawn" The Aftermath go on a quest to find the 70's Hero Respawn and to find out who made the List.
- [miniseries] The Association - "____ ____ Must Die!" Spinning out of the end of the Continuity Crisis, team Aftermath goes to find and stop a man who's very existence might bring about the end of everything. There are no other options. ____ ____ Must Die!
- [ongoing] FairyTale Panic! With his new status quo now known to everyone, just what can Scott do to keep things from spinning out of control? And why are so many people obsessing over _____ _____?
- [miniseries] The Confession: Spinning out of FairyTale Panic! this is the story of a confession of love. When a rumor that the most admired guy at Shiritsu Daitou is planning to confess gets spread, just what will a girl do to be the chosen one? And, why is this so important anyway?
- October 31: [Thread] Masquerade Crisis!
- [crossover] Masquerade Crisis! : The 3rd annual Halloween party at the Cave of Evil might become its last when a wayward spell causes people to become the costumes they are wearing--and the students at Shiritsu Daitou wear some really strange costumes! Will the city be safe from teenagers gone amock?
- [ongoing] FairyTale Panic! Scott and company find themselves unaffected by the Masquerade spell. Can they survive until the spell ends?
- December 2006: [Thread] Legend of X-mas Eve, 2006
- [miniseries] The Association - "The Christmas Invasion" Team Aftershock vs the Secret Society of Anti-Hero's with the fate of humanity at stake! Will they be able to stop the alien Gods before its too late? And who's treason will shift the balance of power?
- [miniseries] The Battle for Tokyo University: The Secret Society attack Tokyo U! Just what lies beneath the University that makes the Society send its most dangerous agents to retrieve it? And who can stop them?
- [ongoing] FairyTale Panic! Who is the older woman who's been following Scott Orsen and just what does is mean for his current life? The end of FairyTale Panic! begins here.
- February 2007: [Thread] Lives of Love and Magic
- [Finale] FairyTale Panic! When Scott Orsen's life falls apart all around him, will the young man be able to make his stand? Leads into Books of Dark Magic.
- [crossover event] The Books of Dark Magic
- Last Knight in Tokyo: An ancient king re-awakens to stop Mitsuya Tsuruya and the rest of the Dark Moon from releasing an ancient demon trapped far beneath Shiritsu Daitou.
- The Mists of Nijihime: For various reasons, several groups set off to find entry into the Far Realms.
- Lords of Ice and Desert: In the Netherworld, a group meets with Lord Asrael of the Jahhanam and Lady Brynhildr of the Adlivun. And just who are the Knights of Zushakon?
- Beyond Abbadon: Somewhere in Abaddon lies the doorway to the lost realm of Pandemonium...and if the Knights find it first, all is lost.
- Complete Pandamonium: A last stand against the Knights and the reopening of Pandemonium.
- April 2007: [thread] Spring of Revelation
- [miniseries crossover] The Association - The Second Nightmare Zone: When nightmares start attacking the city of Tokyo, team Aftershock suspects that inter-dimensional traveler Stevens has made a return. However, an even stranger event is occurring. When the dust settles, which main character will leave Tokyo for good?
- [miniseries] Second Graduation: Another batch of students graduate Shiritsu Daitou--but this time, the world is safe. Nothing to see here, move along.
This is, like I said, only a rough sketch. I expect that we'll have a sports festival and an autumn fling (with the Crisis in spring, a Spring Fling seems unlikely). We might even pull off a Tanabata thing this TP year. And with February a Valentines thing is prolly good. And while it may seem I have a lot planned out, most of this is highly flexible and will luckily be incorporated into other plots as well.
