I want to go to there.

This afternoon i came across a friend's blog and her latest entry was about weddings and how they lead to divorce. She mentioned a few things that I wondered about because I never actually thought of it.
The first one was that she knew relatives that don't speak to each other and how that would be hard to deal with at a wedding. Should you invite them or not? I have never heard of such a thing going on. I know relatives have disagreements with one another but, both sides of my family get along pretty well and if there is ever an argument, it gets squashed quickly (booze is usually involved). Maybe it's an hispanic thing, I don't know.
The second thing she mentioned was that if she wanted to do something out of the ordinary, her mother wouldn''t approve. Again, I had never thought about this situation because I know my mom doesn't give a fuck how I do my wedding, just as long as I'm happy and no one ruins my day. I come from a family with three older sisters and only one of us is married. My mom doesn't care how we get married, she just wants us to get married.
Now you might wonder why I even brought this up. I'm not planning on getting married, I don't want that right now. What she said just struck me as odd because I never thought about those issues.

Last night I saw ALIEN and it was freakin' awesome on the big screen! Really enjoyed it! Today is a good day to play catch up. Homework, working out, and a tv show or two.

I planned a little get together tomorrow @ Pluckers for James and it's actually bigger than I expected. At first I invited 6 people and now I'm looking at a total for 14 people. It's turned into a Gamefellas reunion! It was going to be a surprise thing for him but I ended up getting my own dates wrong and I got caught, had to tell him but he was pretty happy by it all.

Wednesday night is a screening of THIRST! I'm pretty stoked about it, makes me get all giddy about Fantastic Fest! You know what I've noticed? I have girl friends that like watching films but they are connected to it more because of their boyfriend/husband. I don't know too many women that love movies without the connect. I know like 4 women. Anyways, time to wrap things up here and get going with the rest of the day.
