There is a certain time in all of our lives where we sit back and realize just how fragile human life is. For me, and a myriad of other, that time came around five o'clock PM on April 20th of 2005. This is when Andrew Alexander passed on to where it is that people go when they die. Andy touched my life in a way that no one else could. In fact, anybody who has ever met him would probably tell you the same thing. There was something about him that made the room light up when he walked in. He could turn a bad or awkward situation into the best time you've ever has and i will carr those good time with me until it's my turn to float on.
Maybe B.H.K. (Blonde Haired Kid), as he became so affectionately know, just saved all of our lives by giving his up. Maybe he chose this path to help everybody follow theirs more carefully, whether it be checking both way with more caution before crossing a street, or waaring your seatbelt at all times. This kind of thing lets everybody see their lives from a little different perspective. I think that everybody who know Andy know that he can't die. His body may have seized up and given out, but Andy is still here with us and he'll always be with us, no matter where we are or what we're doing. In fact, he's sitting next to me right now, letting me know that everything's going to be all right. And it is, because if anything, B.H.K would have wanted us to keep laughing, keep working, and not worry over him so much because he's chilling where he is. He's safe and sound and protected from any other worldly hard. And if I know Andy, which I do, he'd probably tell everyone to stop crying over him and just get on with it. Well, sorry Andy, you're going to have to give us some time with this one. We all miss you so much and it's hard to find the word to express how much that is. We all loved you. We all love you. You will be missed infinite times over. Yout broekn shoelace will always be remembered. Mom, we love you. Dad, we love you. Ansley, we love you. Adrienne, we love you.
